Grades 3-8

Today, childhood obesity rates are on an upward spiral, causing youth to develop diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol before they reach adulthood. The community nutrition programs offer students a hands-on chef experience in the kitchen using safe recipes. When food safety instructions are added to recipes food safety behaviors in home environments are improved.

Our menu arranges from Chicken & Waffles, Smoothies and Smoothie Bowls, Banana Salad Boats, Avocado Toast and Crunchy Yogurt Parfaits, Graham Crackers with Strawberries, and Spicy Bean Dip.  We are available for after school programs, with ability to set up at or around 3:00pm and ending at or around 5:30pm. We would need full access to school kitchen. We welcome the opportunity to support your organizations efforts for healthier families.
